Lushan Institute Dormitory and Facilities
The Lushan International language and Culture Institute is located on the Zhongba Road where the grounds cover an area of 6270 square meters. There are four buildings on the Institute grounds including the dormitory (standard style hotel rooms), multifunction hall, kitchen, dining room and classrooms. Washing machines and laundry rooms are also available. It is within walking distance to downtown Kuling Street, many restaurants and stores as well as the Old Villas Museum, Chiang Kai Sheks Villa Meilu, the Pearl S. Buck house, the old Kuling American School and the Poetic Forest Trai. Its about an 8 minute walk to downtown and buses come right nearby.
Standard rooms have two beds, and are to be occupied by two students; single rooms are available for an extra $450 fee. Room have local China TV, an air-conditioner, private bathroom, shower, and wired internet connection. The laundry room is located in the basement of the building, detergent not included. Rooms are cleaned by facility maids once per day during class time. Reception is available in the lobby of the building. Internet access is available in each room via an internet cable in the room, it will signs you on automatically. The internet in the dorm room is free, while WIFI is not currently available.
